The Super Falcons of Nigeria, nine-time champions of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations AFCON, will discover their group stage opponents for the 13th edition of the tournament on Friday. The draw is set to take place at the Mohamed VI Football Complex in Sale, Morocco.
The tournament, scheduled from July 5 to July 26, 2025, will feature 12 teams divided into three groups of four. The top two teams from each group and the two best third placed teams will advance to the quarterfinals. Alongside Nigeria, other qualified teams include hosts Morocco, defending champions South Africa, Zambia, Ghana, Algeria, Botswana, DR Congo, Tunisia, Senegal, Tanzania, and Mali.
