The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has endorsed a sweeping restructuring at Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), dissolving the club’s existing board and installing Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami as the new chairman. This overhaul forms part of a comprehensive review of 3SC’s 2024–25 NPFL campaign.
Under the outgoing board, 3SC finished seventh in the league with 54 points from 38 matches—recording 15 wins, nine draws and 14 defeats. Despite this mixed campaign, the club also achieved 15 clean sheets, including a six-match streak, marking one of the best defensive records of the season.
