Brighton & Hove Albion Women have officially signed Nigerian international goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie on a free transfer, with her Paris FC contract ending on 30 June. She will join her new team on 1 July, as confirmed by the club.
At 24, Nnadozie arrives after a prolific five years at Paris FC, where she made 118 appearances. She was instrumental in their 2025 Coupe de France Féminine win saving two penalties in the final and has featured 16 times in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Her individual honours include being the first African player to win UNFP Division 1 Féminine Goalkeeper of the Season in 2024, alongside D1 Arkema top keeper recognition. Brighton manager Dario Vidosic praised her as “a talented and commanding goalkeeper who will bring consistency and confidence to our defensive line,” believing she adds depth and ambition to their squad.
Nnadozie debuted with Rivers Angels in Nigeria before joining Paris FC in January 2020. She earned 55 caps for the Super Falcons since her senior debut in April 2018.
