Super Eagles Goalkeeper Bankole Joins TS Galaxy on Two-Year Deal

Super Eagles goalkeeper Kayode Bankole has officially signed with South African club TS Galaxy, Complete Sports reports.

Bankole joined the Mpumalanga-based club on a free transfer, committing to a two-year contract.

He arrived from Remo Stars, the reigning Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, after his contract with them expired over the summer.

At Remo Stars, Bankole spent five years with the Sky Blue Stars, establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s promising goalkeepers.

His departure was part of a group of key exits from Remo Stars at the end of the 2024/25 season. Notable among those leaving alongside him were Sikiru Alimi, Frank Mawuena, Seun Ogunribide, Fabian Nworie, and Junior Nduka.

TS Galaxy, founded in 2015, plays its home matches at the Mbombela Stadium. Last season they finished 5th in the South Africa Premier Division.
