Nigeria international Semi Ajayi has officially been released by West Bromwich Albion, bringing an end to a six-year stay at The Hawthorns. The club confirmed his departure on Tuesday with the publication of their retained and released players list following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.
Ajayi, 31, will leave when his contract expires at the end of June. He joined West Brom from Rotherham United in the summer of 2019 and quickly became a key figure, helping the club gain promotion to the Premier League in his debut campaign.
