The 30 year old Nigerian, who scored 17 goals and supplied four assists in 25 outings, has already agreed personal terms with Trabzonspor. Reports suggest the Turkish club have offered approximately €8 million, with Southampton reportedly asking for €10 million, though talks remain ongoing.
In spite of initial hesitation Trabzonspor twice walked away due to price concerns negotiations have been revived as Southampton seeks to offload players amid looming relegation and financial restructuring.
