Adekanye and Amedspor End Contract by Mutual Consent

The Turkish First League side Amedspor have confirmed that they and Ibadan‑born forward Bobby Adekanye have mutually agreed to part ways. The club expressed appreciation for Adekanye’s contributions during his time there.

Adekanye joined Amedspor in the January 2025 transfer window and made seventeen appearances in Turkey’s second tier, registering one assist in that spell.

A product of renowned youth academies Barcelona, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Liverpool he was once regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young wingers. His skillset includes excellent pace, flair and technical ability, developed during his time at La Masia.

In senior football, he has represented Lazio in Serie A, ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie and Cádiz in La Liga during loan stints. Internationally, he has appeared for Dutch youth teams at U16, U17 and U20 levels.
