Southampton Closing In on Nigerian Forward Udoh Amid Transfer Push

Southampton are in the advanced stages of negotiations to sign Nigerian forward Victor Udoh from Royal Antwerp. Udoh’s football journey began at TBC Football Club and Hypebuzz FC in Nigeria before his move to Antwerp in 2023. Since making his senior debut in January 2024 against Charleroi, he has logged 28 appearances for the Belgian side. However, Udoh was demoted to the reserves last December after failing to score in those senior outings. Despite his struggles with the first team, he impressed in the reserves, netting 12 goals in 27 matches for Antwerp’s Young Reds in the 1ste Nationale.
