Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi have suspended Technical Adviser Abubakar Bala Mohammed indefinitely following a disappointing start to their Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign.

The club’s Interim Management Committee made the decision after an emergency meeting, citing poor performance as the primary reason for the action.

Bala has been directed to hand over his duties to Chief Coach John Onuh (also known as “Abacha”) with immediate effect as the club seeks to arrest their slide.

Lobi Stars currently have only seven points from six games in the NNL’s Conference C, leaving them in sixth place out of an eight-team group, far below the expectations of management and supporters alike.
