Enyimba Strengthen Partnership with United Nigeria Airlines

Enyimba Football Club, Nigeria’s most decorated team, has extended its partnership with United Nigeria Airlines as part of efforts to enhance the club’s operations and travel logistics. The renewed deal ensures that the nine time NPFL champions will continue to enjoy seamless air travel as they navigate a packed domestic and continental football schedule.

Under the agreement, the airline will be responsible for transporting the two-time CAF Champions League winners to and from their match venues for the upcoming season. The latest collaboration was evident when United Nigeria Airlines airlifted the Enyimba squad from Sam Mbakwe International Airport, Owerri, to Lagos ahead of their NPFL Matchday 29 clash against Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

Enyimba’s Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, emphasised that this continued partnership reflects the club’s drive towards professionalism. “This agreement plays a vital role in our logistics, giving the team an edge in its pursuit of success,” he said.

The Aba based club faces a gruelling schedule in the coming days, with three crucial fixtures within a week. After their match in Lagos, they will head to Lafia, Nasarawa State, for a Federation Cup Round of 64 encounter against El Shama FC before returning home to face Bayelsa United in an NPFL Matchday 30 fixture. The travel arrangement ensures that the team has optimal recovery time and maintains high morale as they compete on multiple fronts.
