More clubs have advanced to the round of 16 in the ongoing Prosperity Cup Nigeria’s biggest grassroots football tournament hosted by Bayelsa State. The latest matches, held across multiple venues on Tuesday, delivered drama, flair, and emphatic victories.

At the Imiringi centre, Royal All Stars of Yenagoa secured a 2-0 win over Water Strikers FC of Twon Brass. Nation Ogogo broke the deadlock with a commanding header in the 50th minute, while Charles Richard sealed the victory with a second goal 25 minutes later.

Tournament heavyweights Eternal Grace Ministry (EGM FC) made a powerful statement in the following game. The former champions dismantled Okoroba FC 4-0. Taiwo Ola opened the scoring early, and Noble Junior netted twice before half-time to give EGM firm control. Caleb Chukwu added a fourth in the closing moments.

Over at the Amassoma centre, Advance Dreams FC of Yenagoa cruised past Indomitable Lions FC of Sagbama 2-0, thanks to second-half goals by Goodluck Bunizibe and Opukeme Kenneth. The second fixture saw Akeddei FC of Sagbama outplay Creek Haven All Stars 3-1 in a spirited display.

Meanwhile, at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Agbere FC of Agbere edged past Akenfa FC on penalties following a goalless draw. In the day’s final match, Bayelsa United Feeders FC bounced back from their local final loss with a 3-1 victory over Fury Titans FC. Goals from Daniel Austin, Stanley Edor and Bethel Obadiah secured the win before Jacob Ogbe pulled one back for the Titans.
