A surge of youthful energy is poised to electrify Agege and Orile Agege this August as the inaugural OBASA Summer Under-16 Championship unfolds. Organised by Kings Sports International the driving force behind the annual OBASA Games the tournament kicks off on Thursday, 14 August 2025, with the grand finale and closing ceremony scheduled for Saturday, 30 August 2025.
Sixteen male teams (eight from Agege and eight from Orile Agege) and four female sides will compete across two venues Idea Primary School, Tabontabon in Orile Agege, and Oniwaya High School in Agege. Over the course of 38 fixtures 34 for boys and four for girls contestants will vie for both victory and recognition.
Prize money has been set to motivate fierce competition. In the male category, champions will earn โฆ600,000, runners-up โฆ400,000, and third place โฆ300,000.
