Osimhen to Undergo Medical Ahead of €75m Move to Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen is set to complete a permanent transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray, with a medical scheduled for Thursday, 31 July 2025 in Istanbul. The striker is expected to arrive in the city on Wednesday, 30 July as all paperwork has been signed and counter‑signed, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The deal, reported at €75 million, involves Galatasaray paying €40 million upfront, with a further €35 million due by the end of 2026. The agreement also features up to €5 million in performance-based bonuses and a 10 per cent sell-on clause in favour of Napoli.

Additionally, the contract includes an unusual “anti-Serie A clause”, which either forbids Osimhen from moving to another Italian club for two years or imposes a penalty if Galatasaray sells him to one.

Osimhen ends a successful one-year loan spell at Galatasaray in which he scored 37 goals and provided 8 assists in 41 matches, helping the club secure the Turkish league title and Turkish Cup double.
