A total of 30 women coaches have been awarded their CAF C License certificates following the completion of a historic three module coaching course organized by the Nigeria Football Federation NFF. The course, which began in July, featured both classroom and on-field training sessions. The participants, many of whom are former stars of the Super Falcons, completed internships with clubs after each module. The program concluded with final exams held at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project, MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
During the closing ceremony, NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau encouraged the participants to actively apply their new knowledge and emphasized the importance of integrating women coaches into teams, including men’s clubs, across Nigeria. He expressed his desire to see women coaches in leadership roles, proving their capabilities in high level football.
NFF General Secretary Dr Mohammed Sanusi also urged the graduates to be good ambassadors for the country, stressing the importance of putting their skills into practice and contributing to the growth of Nigerian football.
Among the notable attendees at the ceremony were NFF Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen and other prominent football officials.
