FC Porto manager Francesco Farioli has revealed that Nigerian international Terem Moffi is nearing readiness to start matches for the Portuguese club, with the forward pushing for a first-team role as Porto prepare for upcoming Primeira Liga fixtures.
Moffi, who arrived on loan from OGC Nice, made his debut as a substitute recently and has been building sharpness in training following a period out of competitive action. Farioli says the Nigerian striker is “close” to being considered for the starting XI.
