Tolu Arokodare Vows Goals Will Come for Wolves

Arokodare despite a frustrating start to his Premier League tenure, remains confident he will soon rediscover his scoring touch and help Wolves out of their slump.

He joined Wolves in the summer, but after 10 Premier League appearances, he is yet to score. Though he has scored in two League Cup games, translating that form into league goals has proved elusive a fact that has tested both fans’ patience and his own confidence.

Arokodare recently shared a message on social media featuring clips of his past goals for his former club, accompanied by the words “will be back scoring soon.” He’s expected to feature when Wolves face Manchester United in their next Premier League fixture.

There is something inherently uneasy about signing a striker for big money and seeing him struggle for goals especially in a club fighting for survival. But Arokodare’s stance reveals an important truth about football form may falter, but belief must remain intact.

Wolves’ record this season has been dreadful. At the foot of the Premier League with no wins in 14 games, confidence at Molineux is fragile.  In such a landscape, a young forward like Arokodare could either succumb to pressure or double down on resolve.
