Kano Pillars FC have confirmed the suspension of their technical adviser, Usman Sheriff Abdallah, for at least three weeks following inconsistent results and an altercation with fans after a goalless draw against Bayelsa United on Matchday 22.
According to club chairman Ali Umar, Abdallah secured only one win in the last three league outings a dip deemed unacceptable by the management. His gesture towards supporters after the draw at Sani Abacha Stadium was also cited as “inappropriate conduct.”
Former club legend Ahmed “Yaro Yaro” Garba has been appointed interim head coach, supported by assistant coaches Abubakar Musa, Gambo Muhammad, Suleiman Shuaibu and Ayuba Musa. They will oversee the team’s preparation for the next three NPFL fixtures, including the upcoming away clash with Remo Stars.
