Manchester City forward Rachael Adedini is making headlines at the ongoing UEFA Women’s U17 Championship in the Faroe Islands. The 15 year old, who was born in Le Havre, France, is eligible to represent Nigeria’s Super Falcons through her family heritage but has been provisionally cap-tied to France since 2024.
Before joining Manchester City, Adedini played for Ingré and US Orléans, followed by two seasons with Manchester United. This is her second appearance at the UEFA Women’s U17 Championship, after starring in France’s run to the semifinals in 2024, where she finished as the third-highest scorer with four goals.
