Ranchers Bees have announced that they will host Enyimba at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 12 fixture. The game is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, with kick-off at 4pm.

The venue is unusual for the Kaduna-based side. Ma’aji Muhammad’s men have played their home matches at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano this season, because their usual ground, the Kaduna Township Stadium, is undergoing renovation work.

The club has not explained why Sunday’s game against Enyimba has been moved to Minna. For now, supporters will have to wait for more information on the reason behind the decision.

The Bako Kontagora Stadium is better known as the home ground of Niger Tornadoes.

Bees Look For Better Form

Ranchers Bees come into the game after a 1-1 draw with Inter Lagos in their last league outing. They appointed Ma’aji Muhammad as their new technical adviser on October 19, and he is still settling into the job.

Complete Sports lists the Bees 19th in the NPFL table with nine points from 10 matches, so every point matters. Fans who follow the relegation fight can check the Bet9ja promotion for Matchday 12 before the weekend.

Enyimba’s Challenge

Enyimba arrive with some momentum. They beat Kun Khalifat 1-0 in the Oriental derby on November 1, and reports after Matchday 11 put them 16th on 11 points, just above the relegation zone.

The visitors know Minna well, although not in a good way. They opened their season with a 2-1 defeat at Niger Tornadoes in the town, so they will be careful about the conditions. Fans who like to forecast results can try Super9ja’s Matchday 12 challenge alongside the fixture.

The former African champions will want to build on their derby win and move further away from danger. For the Bees, a home game on an unfamiliar pitch is a chance to turn the pressure around.

Both clubs are in the lower half of the table, so the game has real weight. A win for either side would ease the pressure and give the squad some belief.
