Osinachi Ohale has left Mexican club Pachuca Femenil after three seasons, a few days after announcing her retirement from international football. The 34 year old centre back made 105 appearances for the club across all competitions and scored six goals.

Ohale joined the club known as the “Bella Airosa” after the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Her 105 games were made up of 82 regular season matches, 21 playoff games and two Concacaf Women’s Champions Cup fixtures.

A Career Across Three Continents

Ohale started out at Nigerian clubs Rivers Angels and Delta Queens before moving to the United States, where she began her professional career with the Houston Dash. Spells in Sweden, Spain and Italy followed before Mexico.

That journey has ended in Mexico, at least for now, as no new club has been announced. Readers who follow women’s football on the betting side can check the YOHAIG sign-up code for the new season.

Retirement From the Super Falcons

On September 25 she announced her retirement from the national team after 16 years, calling it a very difficult decision. She made her senior debut in 2010 and finished with more than 85 caps.

Ohale played at four FIFA Women’s World Cups and seven Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournaments. She won five continental titles, in 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2024.

Super Falcons star Rasheedat Ajibade thanked her in a tribute last week. Readers curious about betting terms can read what the Bet9ja promotion code is before the next international window.

What Comes Next

The Super Falcons now move on without her. Eguavoen has invited 28 players for the 2028 Olympic qualifier against Comoros.

Ohale has said her connection with the team will remain, even in retirement. Where she plays next is the open question.
