A Late Zulkifilu Strike Decides It
The match was goalless at the break before Chiedozie Jude Okorie put the hosts ahead in the 49th minute. Insurance responded through Lekan Gabriel in the 66th minute to level matters, but Mohammed Rabiu Zulkifilu struck 11 minutes from time to secure all three points for Ranchers Bees, his fifth goal of the season.
Atune Takes The Result In His Stride
Speaking to Eaglessports Radio afterward, Atune said results don’t always go a team’s way in football and insisted there were no regrets from the performance. He described the campaign as still a work in progress, adding that the goals conceded stemmed from a loss of concentration that the team would work to correct.
Back In Action On Wednesday
Kennedy Boboye’s side will look to bounce back when they host Ikorodu City in their matchday five fixture at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Wednesday.
