Kwara United have unveiled 16 new signings ahead of the 2026/27 NPFL season, with club chairman Kumbi Titiloye declaring that nothing short of the league title and the President Federation Cup will satisfy the Harmony Boys.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the club’s secretariat in Ilorin, marking a new chapter for the Afonja Warriors as they look to build on last season and establish themselves among Nigeria’s elite clubs.

Titiloye explained that the club embarked on an extensive recruitment exercise following the departure of several players whose contracts expired, while retaining the core of last season’s squad to maintain stability, saying, “we want to win the NPFL title and reclaim the President Federation Cup.”

The headline arrivals include former Rangers International forward Jerry Alex, ex-Bendel Insurance duo Peace Dewan and Anthony Nnamdi, Nasarawa United striker Benjamin Jack, Ikorodu City forward Ajibola Ayomade, and Malian goalkeeper Ouattara Khalifa, who adds international experience to the squad. He also acknowledged the continued backing of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Kwara State Sports Commission, describing their support as instrumental to the club’s growing ambitions.
