Super Falcons defender Shukurat Oladipo has extended her contract with Italian champions AS Roma, committing her future to the club until June 30, 2029.
The Giallorossi confirmed the extension in a statement on the club’s official website, announcing that Oladipo has extended her contract with the club through 2029. The statement noted that the central defender joined Roma in February 2025 and has gone on to make 32 appearances for the club.
Oladipo played a key role during the 2025/26 season, helping AS Roma complete a domestic double by winning both the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia. She has also been a regular fixture for Nigeria’s senior national team since the 2024/25 season.
The 21 year old joined AS Roma from NWFL side FC Robo Queens in 2025 and was named the Italian Women’s League’s Best Defender last season, reflecting her growing influence at the club. She has since been included in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which gets underway in Morocco later this month.
