Enyimba forward Joseph Abiodun has described his side’s 1–1 draw with Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Matchday 27 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) as the beginning of “many good results” for the People’s Elephant this season.
The former Sunshine Stars forward opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a headed finish, only for Rivers United winger Aniekeme Okon to level proceedings shortly before half time. Abiodun was playing for the first time in the second half of the campaign.
