The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has handed Kwara United FC a hefty ₦9 million fine and ordered the club to play its remaining home matches in Abeokuta after crowd trouble marred their rescheduled Matchday 22 fixture against Rivers United in Ilorin.
The sanctions also include a three point and three goal deduction from the Harmony Boys’ league tally for breaches of NPFL regulations during the match.
