Ikorodu City FC pulled off a significant Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) away victory by beating Enyimba FC 1–0 at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, strengthening their bid for the league title. Joseph Arumala’s 29th-minute goal proved decisive as the visitors held firm against the nine time champions to take all three points.
