Former Nigerian international Simon Zenke has praised Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi after his move to Portuguese giants FC Porto, CompleteSports reports.
Moffi joined Porto from OGC Nice during the January transfer window, completing a loan move with an option for the Portuguese club to make the deal permanent at the end of the season. Zenke told Footy Africa that he believes the 26 year old forward has the quality and temperament to succeed in Portugal.
“What he has gone through in the last weeks is not good… he needed a change of scene and I am happy he will get it in Portugal,” Zenke said, adding that Porto’s environment should allow Moffi to play with ease and score goals.
Moffi’s move reunites him with head coach Francesco Farioli, who originally signed him for Nice, and also sees him join fellow Nigerian Zaidu Sanusi at the club.
