The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named an all-Cameroonian officiating team to oversee the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 clash between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Mozambique’s Mambas at the Complexe Sportif de Fès in Morocco on Monday.
Abdou Abdel Mefire will serve as the centre referee for the knockout encounter, making him one of the youngest referees appointed at the ongoing tournament.
Mefire will be assisted by compatriots Elvis Guy Noupoue, an experienced official with FIFA World Cup credentials, and Carine Atezambong Fomo, a well-regarded female referee with extensive continental experience.
