Samuel Chukwueze, on loan from AC Milan to Fulham this season, has not yet had formal negotiations over a permanent transfer, according to the club’s head coach Marco Silva.
The 26 year old winger joined Fulham on a season-long loan deal, which includes an option to make the move permanent for a fee believed to be between €22–€26 million.
Silva, while emphasising that no “buy-option” talks have begun, expressed satisfaction with Chukwueze’s contributions so far, describing him as “very good for us” and hoping the Nigerian maintains his form in the next one or two matches.
Chukwueze last drew attention by scoring a brace off the bench in Fulham’s dramatic 5–4 loss to Manchester City — a performance that many hoped would accelerate discussions over a permanent deal.
