Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has revealed that his path to becoming a professional goalkeeper began with a twist he started his footballing journey as a striker. “I started out as a striker,” Okoye said. “Then in the winter, our goalkeeper didn’t want to stay in goal because it was cold, so I volunteered. From then on, I never left the goal.”
