As a nation, we take immense pride in Nnadozie’s nomination alongside the continent’s best. Her dual nominations for Player and Goalkeeper of the Year underscore her versatility and influence in the game. This speaks volumes about her skill, leadership, resilience, and ability to inspire her teammates.

However, these nominations also shed light on the broader achievements of Nigerian football. The inclusion of Edo Queens, Falconets striker Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, and Coach Christopher Danjuma demonstrates that talent runs deep in the country’s footballing ecosystem.

As we anticipate the results at the CAF Awards, we stand behind Nnadozie and all other Nigerian nominees. Their achievements reinforce the country’s standing in global women’s football and offer hope for an even brighter future.
